Product Description
The SPECTRO-1-FIO-UVC/UVC is a high-speed single-channel UV contrast sensor designed for precise reflected and transmitted light measurements using a 280 nm UVC LED and specialized UV fiber optics. It offers a wide working range of approximately 0.04" to 2.0" (1 mm to 50 mm) in reflected light mode and up to 7.9" (200 mm) in transmitted light mode, with 12-bit grayscale detection and scan frequencies up to 175 kHz for fast and accurate sensing. The sensor features configurable NPN/PNP digital outputs, selectable 0–10 V or 4–20 mA analog output, RS232 communication, and PC software for advanced parameterization, diagnostics, averaging, and oscilloscope-style monitoring. Its rugged black anodized aluminum housing is IP64 rated and operates in temperatures from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C), making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
