The SPECTRO-1-100-COF-LAS-CYL is a high-speed, single-channel contrast sensor designed for precision gray scale detection using a red 670 nm Class 2 laser and confocal optics. It offers a measuring range of 50 mm to 180 mm, a focused light spot of 3 mm x 0.1 mm at 100 mm, and operates with high scan frequencies up to 175 kHz. The sensor features both analog (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and digital (PNP/NPN-selectable) outputs, with flexible control via RS232, USB, or Ethernet and is fully programmable using SPECTRO1-Scope software. Its rugged aluminum housing with IP67/IP64 protection and temperature compensation (32°F to 140°F) make it suitable for harsh industrial environments. Ideal applications include label detection, print mark inspection, and monitoring of self-luminous objects across industries such as packaging, automotive, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. With integrated signal processing, averaging, and thresholding options, it delivers stable, high-resolution output for real-time quality control and automation systems.
