Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-UV-SL is a compact true color sensor designed to detect and differentiate fluorescent objects based on color and intensity using a 375 nm UV LED light source. It features an integrated transmitter and receiver with a 3-color filter detector, enabling detection of up to 3 taught colors (or up to 64 colors in group mode) with high-speed operation up to 85 kHz scan frequency. The sensor operates on +24 VDC and provides two digital outputs configurable as NPN or PNP, along with an RS232 interface for parameterization and data exchange via Windows software. With a measuring range of approximately 0.04–1.97 in (1–50 mm) and a rugged IP64 anodized aluminum housing, it is designed for reliable operation in industrial environments. This sensor is commonly used in automated manufacturing, packaging, printing, plastics processing, pharmaceutical production, and quality inspection systems where fluorescent markings or color differentiation are required.
