Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-POL-SL is a compact true color sensor designed to detect and differentiate colors, contrast, and grayscale values using a focused white-light LED and a 3-color filter detector that mimics human color perception. It operates on +24 VDC and provides two digital outputs (NPN/PNP selectable) with fast switching speeds up to 60 kHz, making it suitable for high-speed industrial automation tasks. The sensor can be taught up to 3 colors (up to 64 in group mode) and includes a polarization filter to reduce gloss effects, enabling reliable detection even on reflective surfaces. Typical applications include verifying product color on packaging lines, sorting colored components in manufacturing, detecting indicator LEDs or display colors, and performing quality control on printed labels or materials.
