Product Description
The SPECTRO-3-FIO-SL is a true color sensor designed for flexible color detection using interchangeable fiber optics for reflected or transmitted light applications. It features a large working range of approximately 1 mm to 500 mm (0.04 in to 19.69 in) depending on the fiber optics and attachment optics used. The sensor uses a super-bright white-light LED and a 3-color filter detector to accurately detect colors, contrast, and grayscale values, with up to 3 teachable colors (up to 64 in GROUP mode). It offers fast performance with a scan frequency up to 85 kHz, configurable digital outputs, and RS232 communication for parameterization through Windows® software. Typical applications include color verification in manufacturing, sorting and quality inspection on production lines, label or mark detection, and monitoring luminous objects such as LEDs or displays.
