The SLB-01-TP is a split light barrier sensor system designed for precise object detection in industrial environments. It consists of a separate transmitter (SLB-01-T) and receiver (SLB-01-R), both housed in anodized blue aluminum for durability, with connection via a shielded PUR-sheathed cable (available in 500 mm or 1000 mm lengths) and an 8-pin tool plug connector. The sensor offers high resolution, with minimum detectable object sizes down to 50 µm in DC mode and 300 µm in AC mode, and it operates using a 905 nm IR-LED source with optical filtering for ambient light resistance up to 5000 Lux. The maximum detection range is approximately 1.18 in. (30 mm) in DC and 3.94 in. (100 mm) in AC operation, with repeatability as fine as 10 µm. Optics are collimated with a 100 mrad beam divergence, and the scratch-resistant glass optics cover enhances reliability in harsh conditions. It is rated IP67 for ingress protection and supports operating temperatures from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to +80°C). The SLB-01-TP is compatible with both constant and pulsating light amplifiers and is ideal for high-precision, light-interruption detection tasks in automation systems.
