Product Description

The SLB-01-P is a compact, high-resolution split light barrier sensor designed for precise object detection using a collimated 905 nm infrared beam. It can detect objects as small as 50 µm (DC mode) or 300 µm (AC mode) and operates reliably in ranges up to 100 mm, depending on the mode. The system is resistant to ambient light (up to 5000 Lux) and harsh conditions, thanks to its IP67-rated anodized aluminum housing, PUR-sheathed cable, and scratch-resistant glass optics cover. Designed with a modular 8-pin Binder 712 connector, it is compatible with both constant and pulsating light amplifiers, as shown in the product integration diagram on page 4. Available in 500 mm or 1000 mm cable lengths, the sensor system is ideal for use in automation applications requiring repeatability as fine as 10 µm. This product is commonly used in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics assembly, packaging lines, and precision machining industries where micro-part detection and optical triggering are critical.
