Product Description

The L-LAS-TB-F-(8)-40/40-MS is a Class 1, 670 nm visible red laser line sensor system designed in a Master/Slave configuration, offering a typical measuring range of 8 mm per unit (2 × 8 mm total) with 2 µm resolution and ±2 µm reproducibility. It features a 40 mm transmitter/receiver distance, integrated interference filter, and a CCD line detector with 1024 pixels and 4096 subpixels for high-precision edge and position detection. The sensor operates on 24 VDC (±10%) and provides selectable analog outputs of 0–10 V or 4–20 mA, along with three short-circuit-proof digital outputs configurable as PNP or NPN (bright- or dark-switching) via Windows® software. Housed in blue anodized aluminum with IP67-rated optics and IP54 electronics, it is suitable for industrial environments requiring reliable inline measurement. Typical applications include precision thickness measurement, gap and edge detection, diameter or width verification, part positioning, and quality control in automated manufacturing and assembly systems.
