The Sensor Instruments L-LAS-TB-75-AL is a high-resolution laser line sensor system consisting of a transmitter (L-LAS-TB-75-T-AL) and receiver (L-LAS-TB-75-R-AL) designed for precise dimensional measurement across a 73 mm typical measuring range. It features a Class 1, 670 nm semiconductor laser (<0.39 mW), resolution down to 8 µm, selectable scan frequencies up to 2.5 kHz, and both analog (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and configurable digital outputs (PNP bright-switching/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-switching/NPN bright-switching) for flexible PLC integration . The sensor operates on 24 VDC (±10%), offers IP54 (electronics) and IP67 (optics) protection, and functions within an operating temperature range of 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C) . With CCD line detection (1180 pixels, 9440 subpixels) and multi-edge evaluation, it provides accurate edge and gap detection even in demanding industrial environments . Typical applications include width and diameter measurement, gap and edge detection, part positioning verification, and in-line quality control in automated manufacturing systems .
