Product Description

The L-LAS-RL-30-…-CL is a reflected light line sensor designed for precise position or width measurement of objects within a 30 mm measuring range at a 75 mm reference distance. It features a 30 µm resolution, detects objects as small as 0.15 mm, and uses a 512-pixel CCD line with ring illumination (white, red, blue, or UV LED variants) to adapt to different surface characteristics. The sensor operates on +24 VDC and provides three configurable digital outputs (PNP bright-switching/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-switching/NPN bright-switching) plus one selectable analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA), along with RS232 communication for PC parameterization. Housed in anodized aluminum with IP64 (electronics) and IP67 (optics) protection, it is suitable for industrial environments with operating temperatures from 14°F to 140°F (-10°C to +60°C) . Typical applications include edge detection, dimensional verification, gap and width measurement, part presence monitoring, and inline quality control in automated manufacturing and assembly systems .
