Product Description

The L-LAS-RL-20 is a reflected light line sensor designed for precise position and width measurement, featuring a 20 mm typical measuring range at a 55 mm reference distance . It uses a CCD line detector with 512 pixels (1024 subpixels) to achieve a typical resolution of 20 μm and can detect objects as small as 0.1 mm . The sensor is available with white, red, blue, or UV LED ring illumination (9 LEDs) and corresponding optical filters to suit different surface and application requirements . Electrical interfaces include three configurable digital outputs (PNP bright-switching/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-switching/NPN bright-switching), one digital input, and two analog outputs (0–10 V and 4–20 mA), with RS232 communication for parameterization . Housed in anodized aluminum with IP64 (electronics) and IP67 (optics) protection, the unit operates from +24 VDC and is rated for temperatures from 14°F to 140°F (-10°C to +60°C) .
