Product Description

The L-LAS-LT-55-RA-HS is a high-speed laser line sensor designed for precise distance measurement on highly reflective or glossy surfaces using an angle of total reflection, with a typical measuring range of 8 mm starting at 51 mm from the housing edge and a resolution of 5 µm . It features a 670 nm, <1 mW Class 2 visible red laser, CCD line detector, scan frequency up to 600 Hz, and offers either 0–10 V or 4–20 mA analog output along with three configurable PNP/NPN digital outputs for PLC integration . The sensor is housed in black anodized aluminum, operates on 24 VDC, and is parameterized via Windows® software with adjustable laser power, output polarity, and tolerance settings . Typical applications include distance measurement on coated glass panes, radius measurement on automotive side windows, and precision measurement on polished silicon wafers where direct reflection enables highly accurate detection.
