Product Description

The L-LAS-LT-55 is a compact laser line sensor featuring a 670 nm Class 2 semiconductor laser (<1 mW) with a typical 10 mm measuring range starting at 50 mm from the housing edge . It provides high precision measurement with typical 3 µm resolution and ±3 µm reproducibility, using a 1024-pixel CCD line detector with 4096 subpixel resolution . The sensor offers selectable analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and three configurable digital outputs (PNP bright-switching/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-switching/NPN bright-switching), making it suitable for PLC integration . Housed in black anodized aluminum with IP54 electronics and IP67 optics protection, it operates from 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C) and supports parameterization via RS232, USB, or Ethernet using Windows® software . Typical applications include precision dimensional measurement, edge and position detection, thickness monitoring, and tolerance verification in automated manufacturing systems.
