Product Description

The L-LAS-LT-38-AL is a compact laser line sensor from the L-LAS Advanced Line series featuring a 670 nm, <0.4 mW Class 1 laser with a typical 0.3 mm x 3 mm visible red line. It offers a 40 mm reference distance with a typical 16 mm measuring range (32 mm to 48 mm from the housing edge), 5 µm resolution, and ±5 µm reproducibility. The sensor includes one analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and three digital outputs configurable as PNP or NPN (bright- or dark-switching), plus two digital inputs for trigger and teach/reset functions. It operates on +24 VDC (±10%), supports measuring frequencies up to 3.8 kHz in fast mode, and communicates via RS232 with optional USB or Ethernet converters. Housed in black anodized aluminum with IP64 (electronics) and IP67 (optics) protection, the unit is parameterized using Windows® L-LAS-LT-Scope software for tolerance setting, output polarity, and evaluation mode configuration.
