The A-LAS-F08 is a fork-style analog laser light barrier designed for high-precision measurement, offering a 0–10 V analog output when paired with compatible control units and achieving measurement ranges up to 3 mm depending on the selected aperture . It uses a visible red Class 1 laser (670 nm) and features a compact anodized aluminum housing with IP67 protection, making it suitable for industrial environments . The sensor supports a wide variety of aperture sizes and fork dimensions, allowing it to detect very small objects with typical resolution down to 1% of the aperture size . Common applications include edge detection, thickness measurement, small part detection in automation systems, and quality control processes in manufacturing lines where precise optical measurement is required.
