Product Description

The AGL3 is an electronic control unit designed for use with A-LAS analog laser light barriers, offering high-resolution detection capabilities for very small objects starting at 10 µm. It features analog (0–10 V) and digital outputs with both static and dynamic modes (15 ms pulse), along with NPN/PNP switching options for integration flexibility. With a high switching frequency of 25 kHz and trigger accuracy below 1 µm, it supports ultrahigh precision detection, even in environments with dirt accumulation, thanks to built-in compensation and status indicators. Its rugged aluminum housing (IP64-rated) and compact form factor make it suitable for industrial applications including edge detection, web guiding, part positioning, and high-speed object monitoring. The AGL3 is particularly valuable in automation, packaging, and precision manufacturing where consistent detection of small or fast-moving parts is critical.
