Product Description

The AGL-DIF is an electronic control unit from the A-LAS Series, designed for high-precision detection of small defects or damages on moving objects using laser light barriers. It features both analog (0–10V) and digital dynamic outputs with selectable pulse lengths (8–300 ms), supporting fast switching frequencies up to 25 kHz and a detection threshold starting from 10 µm. The unit offers adjustable sensitivity, gain, and pulse length via onboard switches and potentiometers, along with visual indicators for switching state and dirt accumulation. Its aluminum housing (anodized in blue) is compact (approx. 2.75" × 1.4" × 0.94") and rated IP64, suitable for industrial environments. A key application example includes detecting defects in coated optical fibers during manufacturing, where minor diameter changes signal flaws. Target industries include fiber optics manufacturing, high-speed materials inspection, precision electronics production, and other applications requiring micron-level defect detection.
