The A-LAS-CON1-4/20 is a microcontroller-based control unit designed for use with up to two analog laser sensors from the A-LAS series, providing precise object detection and thickness measurement in the micrometer range. It features a high switching frequency of up to 25 kHz, 0.1% resolution, and a minimum detectable object size under 10 μm, making it ideal for high-speed and high-precision applications. Outputs include three configurable digital outputs (PNP or NPN, software-selectable) and a single analog output, available as either 0–10V or 4–20mA depending on model variant. The unit is enclosed in a compact anodized aluminum housing (approx. 4.3" x 2.75" x 1.2") and supports Windows-based configuration via RS232, USB, or Ethernet connection. Industries such as electronics manufacturing, precision machining, packaging, and medical device production use the A-LAS-CON1 for non-contact measurement, positioning, and defect detection. Its ability to compensate for dirt accumulation, temperature drift, and laser wear makes it reliable for demanding industrial environments.
