Compact, High-Pressure Flow Measurement for Low–Mid Viscosity Liquids with the P76 Turbine Flow Meter

Paquin is spotlighting our P76 Turbine Flow Meter (Or Impeller Flow Meter) purpose built for clean, low to medium viscosity liquids at high pressure with flexible outputs and rugged IP67 stainless steel construction.

Built for: petrochemical & oil/gas skids, hydraulic/lubrication circuits, water treatment, and solvent handling

Delivers: ±1% standard accuracy (±0.5% option) with ±2% repeatability, at pressures to 6,000 psi and media temps up to 446 °F (option dependent)

Integrates via: 4–20 mA, pulse width modulation (PNP/NPN), linearized pulse, or 4–20 mA + two programmable switches + display; explosion proof (Ex d IIC T6) option available

The Problem The P76 Solves

Velocity based meters can struggle with very high pressure services or require multiple instruments to cover a wide signal toolbox. The P76 combines high pressure capability, compact stainless construction, and field selectable outputs, so engineering teams can standardize one platform across batching, totalizing, alarming, and closed loop control.

What’s New / Why It’s Different

  • High pressure pedigree: rated up to 6,000 psi; robust 304 SS body & rotor with tungsten carbide journal bearings

  • Coverage by design: standard ranges 0.16…154 GPM with extended options up to 177 GPM with end fittings from 1/4" to 2″

  • Signal flexibility: 4–20 mA, pulse width, linearized pulse, or 4–20 mA + two programmable push pull switches + local display; explosion proof display option

  • Rugged by design: IP67 outputs or IP65 Ex proof option (EX d IIC T6)

  • Environmental readiness: IP67 (M12) with ambient −40…185 °F and media options to 446 °F

Applications

  • Hydraulic & Lubrication Skids: verify consumption, trigger loss of flow alarms
  • Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Skids: compact, high pressure meter for light fuels and solvents
  • Water Treatment & Utilities: dependable batching/totalizing with linearized pulse
